Runescape Autominers Don't Exist
Sept 2007 Update: Yes, there are auto-miners, auto-fishers, auto-wood choppers available. This is a natural progression of any online game. Keep in mind, however, that if you use them and get caught, you risk losing your account with all of your hard work. If you're going to bot, do it on a throw-away account, not your main.
That being said, here's my original entry which is still valid as well:
All over on the 'net there are references to the Runescape Autominer that used to be useful to players.
I believe that was either in the Runescape 1 days or early early in the Runescape 2 days because in the year I've played Runescape 2 (which is the Runescape most people know now) this bot hasn't worked.
Jagex made some changes to the display of its software to account for things which track clicks and try to replicate them to be things like autominers, etc. Now, your Runescape screen (above the chat window) drifts slightly every once in a while - just a few pixels, but enough to screw up autominers and autoclickers. [sept 2007 update - Jagex will continue to make modifications that will screw with your autoclickers and you'll have to continue to upgrade/update/fix your side to make it work again. If you are very good at this type of thing, go for it. If you're not, don't waste your time]
So, don't waste your time with them. They don't work for more than about 20 minutes at a time if you can get them to work at all.

i did see an atuominer i think 2 mounths ago
I have a lot of auto devices and this statement is correct, they only work for like 30minutes.
Seriously people. No good autominers?!?! Haven't you ever heard of SCAR (www.kaitnieks.com)? After the latest mass ban (over 15k accounts were banned) you shouldn't be using any macros yet...but soon SCAR will abound with new scripts for macroing
I know for a fact there are auto miners I have one my self but it is sometimes a little difficult to use.
I have an autominer so they are real.
Jagex made a statement on Thursday, Jan 19, 2006 which is stated in http://runehq.com/index.php
They have disabled around 15.000 accounts and the associated accounts as well. So it is quite probable to get his account disabled when using automation software.
I see lots of auto ess miners and auto flax pickers do their tasks for hours one end. Verytime Jagex bans them more come back, it's like an invasion.
sometimes i think i see autominers but it turns out the person had public chat turned off, so don't report them until you're absolutely sure!
I am a big wcer and i mine alot 2 and i see auto miners alot, 1 time i saw about 4 lv 3's with the same exact charr and random names like mrr23122 and zzp52542 around the yews. they automaticly walked 2 bank and back and they never responded 2 any of the other yew wcers when we tried dancing behind them there were no responses either so u cant say they had chat off, i know for a fact there are autominers that work.
If you think autominers and other automated scripts aren't real, then you are sorely mistaken.
The free ones work for 20-40 mins at a time. The ones that are paid for are scripted to deal with most of the random events, thus they last longer, and most have built in rest periods where they log off for a variable time before starting again.
but alot of the macros work by searching the screen for a colour that u select. so the screen could be turning round constatly ad they still work. Im a mod and there are alot of macros in the game that go unnoticed.Usualy there will be alot of macros run by the same person or a group that all log run the programs at the same time to lag the macro detection system.
Lol I used a auto miner when i started, although i got caught they still exist
