Quick Runescape Money using Logs, comment by Bowhagen
Here are some useful comments from Bowhagen about what route to follow to get $$ for decent equipment within an hour or less of having left Tutorial Island:

When i was a noob i found a good way to make my woodcutting easier:
First finish tutorial island, when you arrive in lumbridge you'll a bronze sword, bronze axe, wooden shield, shortbow, 25 arrows, and food plus some runes and other small stuff. Go North to the general store and sell your sword, shield, food items, etc. Keep the runes and arrows but sell off everything else. Don't worry, in a hour you'll have a lot of money for a noob!!
Go south to the axe shop and buy a iron axe and go to Draynor to cut 112 regular logs and you should be around level 20 or more meaning you can cut Oak, but stick with regular since they're easier and sell for more! I got 10k in a half an hour with just 500+ regular logs! I sold for 20gp each!
Then you can buy iron armor or steel even mith but I doubt you can wield mith with just 30 mins of game play!

I started off with this advice, but did things just a little differently. I cut and burnt regular logs which quickly advanced both my woodcutting and my firemaking skills. As soon as I could, I moved to Oak, but I burnt those as well, focusing on being able to cut willows. Once I could cut willows, I started cutting them like mad. When I had a decent amount, I switched to world 1 and sold them for at least 30 gp each. Once I amassed some cash, I started carrying it with me while I cut willows and would occasionally say, "Buying willows 20 gp each". Plenty of people sold so I'd chop and buy until I had 1000 and then go to world 1 to collect my 30k coins. I easily made about 200k doing this.
Some key points:
Carrying the cash does take up a backpack space, but the willows and bank in Draynor are so close, it doesn't bother me. I also do the "buying willows" bit when I bank my willows. Paying anything less than 30 gp per willow is money in the bank, you can easily offer to pay 25 if you feel 20 is being too greedy.
I learned that I was dumb to not be using the best axe possible. I cut with steel axe for a long, long time because I lost an addy axe head once because I wasn't paying good enough attention (hockey game was one). The better the axe, the faster you cut.
Sell your willows in groups of 1000 if possible. People don't like to bother with numbers like 32, 78, or even 276. You'll get better money for larger quantity. When buying them at 20 gp each, however, I'm happy to take as few as two. Customer relations. :)
Sell on world 1. Refresh the worlds page a few times if you have to.
My current wc is 55. I see plenty of people with wcs in the 70s still cutting willows because they cut so much faster than yews (according to them).

why sell on world 1? maybe because most players go on this world it might make it the best place to sell stuff. i thought that would be quite obvious
well im gazelle3 p2p and i still cut willows cause there great exp and quiet good for my fletching skill ---> im currently 76 and still raise like 80-90k exp in few hours so guys keep op the willow cutting and good luck

Nice to see my tip helped a little. Well I did'nt finish writing all of it. Now that you have money, go to varrock and buy logs from general store for 1gp. Get fire making up and you still got alot more cash. On oak don't sell just burn away. When on level 45 willows are alot faster. Cut them sell them for 20-30gp and go to lumby or falador and buy them for 12 gp each you get money and logs back for firemaking!!! I see people buy willows to burn, why not go to a shop to buy and burn?
This is going to be a little help to help you get fast woodcutting experience quick. Go to Draynor Maynor, after you gotten you're iron axe. West of the Old sage's house is a lot of trees. Cut them till level 30. After level 30 go to the farming patch north of there and cut/burn oak logs till level 45. After that back to Draynor and this time cut Willows all the way up.
Recommended axes:
Level 1-20 iron
Level 21-45 mith
Level 46-99 rune
It saves you money and time since rune axe are the ones that really sell. If you can afford a couple of mil get a dragon axe just to show off, since it dosent cut faster than rune, trust me ;p!

ya actually they sell the best.
i can say that it takes a lot of work to get the levels up enough to cut yews. but if u cut yews at lvl 60 u get like 200xp!!! so i dont know why every1 says that willows are greater xp because they only give u like 60 xp well get ur wc lvl up and sell yews.
Just spend 6months chopping willows 6 hours a day... I did that to level 75 and now i can make 2,000,000gp a week cutting magics (they sell for 1,000gp ea)
Hey, i have a pure wc'er and hes only lvl 6. =] hes 59 wc but i never seem to be able to sell them what price should i prefferably sell them? :)
FYI, the dragon axe has been fixed so it actually does cut faster.

This Guide is called Fast Free Laws
What you need : 27 pure essence
First go to world 66
Then you go to the monks of entrana and sail to ntrana
Then follow the crowd and you will come up to th law altar.
There will be some people saying "open 27/27"
This means is that if you swap them 27 pure essence (unnoted)
They give you 27 laws and 27 pure ssence (noted)
Do this again and again and you will be rich!

Great tips, however, if you wana make cash go to yews after around 75 woodcutting. They are great cash, especialy if you fletch and string the sell 600ea. I made close to 2 mil in 3 or 4 days nonstop cutting yews. Its great xp. Currently I am 81 woodcutting and 78 fletching. Although, you need 70 fletching to make yew longs. So this is aimed at the people who have some experience in fletching.
h killer, i think a very good way 2 make 6k in 5 mints. get cowhides and get 60 and each can get sold 100-250 each i did that to make money i still do it some times im a lvl 41
